ASCO BV has been founded since 1988. The company is located in the south of the Netherlands in the medieval town Roermond, close to both the Belgian and German border.
ASCO primary is an engineering- and development company for machines and equipment for the (home)textile and sunprotection industry: (roller)blinds, (insect)screens and awnings.
Because customers were looking for complete solutions, ASCO also started manufacturing machines and cutting tables for fabrics in a new workshop in 1990.
ASCO engineers are used to design equipment close to the industry and listening to customer's demands. The aim is to build high quality machines for a reasonable price, using state of the art technology.
As a specialist for technical fabrics ASCO designs and builds machines and equipment for:
- Textile- and garment industry such as inspection, measuring and finishing machines.
- Wholesalers for hometextile fabrics: programmable rewinding and cutting off machines.
- Curtain and sample book manufacturers: programmable machines for cutting off panels and cutting tables to stack fabrics.
- Sunprotection industry, our main business. A complete range of equipment for cutting and assemble roller blinds, roman blinds, insect screens, sun screens, awnings, and more. For example ultrasonic cutting tables for made to measure and ready made blinds, welding equipment for screens, scalloping machines, laser cutting tables, etc.
- Cutting tables for the bedding and the filter industry.
- Companies using high tech fabrics such as kevlar, trevira, etc.
All equipment is developed and tested in close cooperation with major Dutch and German companies. Before a new machine is released for export it is tested for a long period and brought to perfection.
