Hassinger GmbH & Co. KG Ludwigshafen  Today, visitors to Hassinger will notice the modern company building with its light and airy atmosphere and its appealing architecture. About 110 employees are working on the premises.
When Josef Hassinger, a master metalworker from Ludwigshafen, started his small shutter and blind fitting business in 1896, he did not envisage such dimensions. But as early as 1925, his son Albert began manufacturing his own venetian blinds. In 1962, Albert Hassinger handed business over to Otto Rist, an energetic and active successor for the still expanding company.
The next innovation push was due in 1980, when management was taken over by his son Wolfgang Rist.HALU SUN PROTECTION LEADS THE WAY Along with the increasing use of glass and metal in architecture, Halu products became more and more popular. In the area of textile sun protection, Halu leads the way both in Germany and abroad. Towards the end of the 80s, the building of new company premises seemed unevitable.
